  • Welcome to St Thomas' Trowbridge and our 'family' which includes Holy Trinity (The Church on the Roundabout), St John's West Ashton and Kingfisher Church (meeting at the Mead School).

All our services and groups are currently suspended due to the coronavirus.

We aim to make Jesus Christ the centre of all we do and we value joyful worship, Bible teaching, the reality of God's love which the Holy Spirit brings, and a family atmosphere including all ages, backgrounds and stages of life.

    Safeguarding

St Thomas’ Church takes its responsibilities surrounding the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults who may be at risk very seriously, and works in partnership with the Diocese of Salisbury to ensure that we work in accordance with best practice at all times.
Our Parish Safeguarding Policy can be obtained by contacting the Church Office on 01225 777331 or emailing office@stthomastrowbridge.org
If you have any Safeguarding questions or concerns you can contact our Parish Safeguarding Officer, Martyn Whittock on 01225 777331 or email office@stthomastrowbridge.org
Alternatively you can contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, on 07500 664800 or email heather.bland@salisbury.anglican.org

  • Getting ready for Easter with your family. Some thoughts from Junior Church...

Over the next couple of weeks Junior Church would have been preparing for Easter in the Sunday morning sessions. In this time children and young people would have been exploring the Easter message and its impact on our lives.

We would like to encourage you to do that at home with your family. In that way we can all be preparing as a church family, even though we are having to do it apart because of the current situation.

To help, we would like to share some resources that have come to our attention. They are geared to different ages and you may find some of the activities and crafts helpful. We have not been able to check through them all, but felt it would be helpful to send you this link. You can then decide if there are ones you would find helpful to use.

If we become aware of other resources we will bring them to your attention.

God bless you and your family with the victorious Easter message at this challenging time.

Also here are some other general resources that might help in family time, with schools shut...

The Holbourne Museum in Bath are trying to put out arts & crafts videos regularly, through this website:

    Holbourne Museum

Also, the Scouts have made some short indoor activities for children (they'll be adding more over the coming weeks):

With both these resources, we will leave parents to decide if they seem appropriate. But we thought it would be helpful to share these links.
